Phil Masinga, Lucas Radebe, Gordon Strachan, David O'Leary, Noel Whelan, John Lukic were on the bench for Leeds. Radebe and Masinga got amongst the goals after coming on as substitutes Radebe scoring the fourth in the sixty third minute and Masinga getting a hat-trick in the sixty-sixth, sixty-eighth and completing it with a penalty in the seventy-second minute. Gordon Strachan finished the scoring in the seventy-eighth minute and two minutes later game was brought to a conclusion.
